AP German Reading in Cincinnati 2010
For the third time, Dave McClave is an AP German Reader for the College Board. He has served in three different cities: San Antonio in 2005; Lincoln, Nebraska in 2009; and this year, 2010, in Cincinnati. There are about 50 AP teachers and professors from across the United States and one, Mr. Wolfgang Koerner, from Bavaria, Germany, participating in grading more than 5400 AP German exams. Mr. McClave describes it as the best possible opportunity for professional development in the field of German instruction at the high school level. The team is assembled from those among the top instructors of German in the country. They are more than qualified professionals; they are also lots of fun to be with, as these photos illustrate. The reading will last from June 10 to June 18th.
